Lecture in Progress is an online resource that inspires and informs the next generation of talent by providing practical advice and insight into the creative industry. Founded by Will Hudson and Alex Bec, Lecture in Progress’s aim is to empower emerging talent with information and first-hand accounts that demystify the day-to-day workings of the creative world. By focusing on the people, projects and places that make the industry thrive, they want to deliver greater visibility to how work unfolds, where it happens and the breadth of roles that exist.

Marianne Hanoun is a London-based design writer and researcher. After graduating from Kingston University’s BA Graphic Design course in 2014, Marianne studied on the Critical Writing in Art & Design MA at the Royal College of Art, before joining Lecture in Progress as a staff writer.
