Manchester Artists’ Book Fair has been up and running since 2006. It was started by Manchester School of Art’s Neil Grant and the Righton Press; after four years it was taken over by Hot Bed Press printmakers’ studio, Salford, who ran it for six years in association with the Manchester School of Art.
The book fair features beautiful books that have been risographed, screenprinted, relief printed, etched soft- and hard-backed books; zines and pamphlets; tiny letterpressed delights; posters printed using woodcuts; irresistible decorative papers and practical bone folders, needles, thread; beautifully folded and manipulated book sculptures, and much much more.
