A fast-paced collage of a documentary about Berlin’s vibrant, post-punk underground scene before the fall of the Berlin Wall, this is a personal account by Manchester-born Mark Reeder, who relocated to Berlin in the ’80s and established an outpost for Factory records. Featuring archive clips and home super-8 footage with tantalising glimpses of New Order, Nick Cave, Christiane F and numerous other notable Berlin faces.
This screening will be followed by Q&A with the ‘star’ of the film Mark Reeder and writer Jon Savage.
