Building up on our theme of disruption, we’re rallying the troops and asking YOU to join US make a statement. We’ve partnered with Berlin-based artist Patrick Thomas + other friends to create iconic stencils/slogans for you to use, to create your own protest and find your voice whatever your cause.

The stencils range from the recognisable to most niche, we want to encourage people of all ages and skills to come and have fun creating, making a message no matter how silly or serious it may be.

In the age of dis-information, fake-news and social media the medium we were inspired by Patrick Thomas’s book ‘The Protest Stencil Toolkit’. The book contained numerous stencils die-cut and ready for use, giving the user no-matter how creative they were the tools to make their own messages. An updated version will be released next year by Lawrence King Publishing.

We will be hosting a free drop-in and workshop across the day with materials provided by our long-term paper and event partner G . F. Smith. We will also be on hand to help with various artist friends giving advice and getting stuck in.
