Gov Design is a meetup connecting designers working in, for, or with the public sector. It’s a chance to exchange knowledge and share experiences.

Over the past year, we’ve been running Gov Design meetups in London and Leeds. We’re excited to bring the meetup to Manchester during Design Manchester 2018. The annual festival is running from 11-22 October across the city.

Join us on 15 October from 6-8pm at the Department for Work and Pensions office.

The aim of the meetup is to create more awareness of design in the public sector and learn from each others’ experiences. This event is open to everyone who is working for or in the public sector, or is interested in the field.

We’ll have three talks from organisations doing public design work across the north. Speakers will be announced soon!

The meetup is kindly hosted by Department for Work and Pensions and organised by Kara Kane and Simon Wilson.
