Patrick is a Project Manager in the Age-friendly Manchester Team, Manchester City Council. He joined the team in 2009 and worked for the first three years with both the Council and the Beth Johnson Foundation, a national and internationally focused charity on urban ageing and Intergenerational practice. Over the last 20 years in the UK and New Zealand he has worked in a range of fields. These include urban ageing and Age-friendly Cities, Intergenerational programmes, community engagement with young people, neighbourhood management, regeneration, social inclusion and strategic planning for community engagement. His role in the Age-friendly Manchester Team includes building and facilitating partnerships at a strategic level for the programme, managing the Manchester Generations Together programme and age-friendly urban design.
