The Museum of Architecture, the team behind The Gingerbread City, is bringing some gingerbread fun to Manchester this holiday season. Working with Playground Design Studio and Manchester School of Architecture, it will be hosting three gingerbread skyscraper-building workshops for families sponsored by Hawkins\Brown on Saturday 16 November.

Visitors are invited to come and hear from local architecture practices about designing Manchester’s evolving high-rise skyline, then have a go at creating their own unique skyscraper using a ‘kit of gingerbread parts’.

Sessions:
10:30-12:00 Family session
1:00-2:30 Family session hosted by Hawkins\Brown
3:30-5:00 Family sessions

The ticket price covers the cost of making one gingerbread skyline for 1 child and 1 accompanying adult. All materials to make the gingerbread skyline will be supplied.

The workshop is suitable for ages 5+
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. There must to be at least 1 adult per two children present.
