Manchester, 28th June. Design Manchester partnered with Manchester School of Art and the Creative Industries Federation to convene a meeting where the creative industries of Manchester and the wider region discussed their response to the outcome of the EU Referendum.

With 95% of people working in the creative sector voting to remain, Design Manchester is committed to ensuring the industry’s voice is heard as the country charts its future outside the European Union.

The meeting brought together a diverse range of organisations, from Manchester International Festival and HOME to Baltic Creative and FACT from Liverpool, Imperial War Museum North and the BBC to the Royal Northern College of Music, Arts Council England and Gandey, the circus touring company from Cheshire. Manchester City Council, MIDAS and the Design Business Association were also represented.
